Wrekin Juniors Raise the Standard |

We are celebrating - committee, managers and volunteers- after achieving the much sought after Charter Standard award from the FA. It is down to the hard work and dedication from everyone that we continue to meet the high standards set by the FA.
The FA Charter Standard clubs programme, supported by FA Community partner McDonald's, is designed to raise the quality and safety of football provision and reward best practise within clubs at all levels of the game. It also demonstrates to parents and children that the club has achieved the required standards of provision as laid down by the FA.
Well done to all our managers who have attended courses to achieve their Level 1 Coaching Certificate which also includes training in Child Protection and First Aid, to our Child Welfare Officer who has made sure all volunteers of Wrekin Juniors are CRB checked, to our treasurer for keeping good financial accounts, our personnel officer who has booked all the courses and to our charter standard officer and chairman who have collated all evidence as proof to present to the FA.
We can now continue our work towards our ultimate goal - that of Charter Standard Community Status.
Well done everyone - and congratulations.
